Σταματήσαμε να διαβάζουμε πια;

Το Web άλλαξε τις συνήθειές μας στο διάβασμα. Μας μετατρέπει μέρα με τη μέρα σε όντα που σκανάρουν τις σελίδες, ψάχνουν για τίτλους, λίστες, εικόνες κ.α. και ξεχνούν το ίδιο το κείμενο.

Όμως είναι αυτό κακό;

Reading is not an instinctive skill for human beings. It is not etched into our genes the way speech is. We have to train our minds how to translate the symbolic characters on the screen into a language that we understand. And the media and the technology we use transform the way we write and read.
